How often in our daily lives do we use the word Courage without realizing its deeper meaning?

Courage manifests itself in small everyday gestures but also as a universal response in the face of the great challenges of an increasingly complex and disruptive world. From the tumultuous squares of metropolises, to the most remote countries on earth, every day men and women face momentous challenges to see the fundamental freedoms of every human being recognized.

Courage is the strength to fight for one’s rights, to safeguard one’s dignity, to face a new life, to flee war-scarred lands, to defy oppressive norms to access education and work.

Is the strength to pursue a dream or to face the unknown.
To have Courage does not mean never being afraid or never falling.
Courage is to decide, to protect, to act.
