Sometime, it happens that great adventures are born almost by chance.
We were just a handful of friends chatting about our shared interests, on that December evening in 2015, and we figured we could arrange a photography festival in Bergamo. It would have been the first in town and it could have been a space devoted to our great passion: photography.
Associazione Fotografica was born right from this dream. First edition of the Bergamo Photography Festival inaugurated in 2016, wishing to give voice to the voiceless through images and to add an important piece to the city’s dynamic cultural scene.
