Alberto Selvestrel

Alberto Selvestrel’s research arises from philosophical reflection and focuses on the relationship between humans and the world. He has been structuring his work through sets of photographs portraying different subjects interacting like mosaic tiles, conveying the image of a world revisiting its boundaries, in a constant dialogue between artificial and natural forms. In 2019, he published the book Link, with a preface by Giovanni Gastel. In the same year, he was selected by Fujifilm as the Italian ambassador for the launch of the X-Pro3 camera. In 2020, he joined With Italy for Italy, a project promoted by Automobili Lamborghini dedicated to reinterpreting the Italian territory in the post-pandemic context. During the same period, he exhibited in Milan in a solo show curated by ArtNoble. In 2022, he launched photographic projects commissioned by the Elpis Foundation and Six Senses. Since 2023, he has been the artistic director of the LanghePhotoFestival, an international photography festival based in Neive, in the heart of the Langhe.
