Fotografica Next is the first international open call by Fotografica Bergamo Festival, designed for young people under 30. We have looked forward to this space to listen to new voices, new perspectives, new needs. We believe that the future of photography is also built by offering young artists the opportunity to be seen, heard, and read.

The response was extraordinary: over 800 projects from 85 countries around the world. A global mosaic of stories and visions, which came to us also from remote and disadvantaged places on earth. They recount life stories with authenticity and courage. These projects make us reflect on how photography and art in general, represent a bridge connecting worlds and sensibilities. This section supplements the festival and enriches it with the exposition of the two winning projects in the two categories designed for Fotografica Next.
